My apologies to console gamers
Since I started PC gaming years ago, I conformed to the idea that PC gaming is superior in every aspect compared to console gaming.
I regret to inform you that I have been wrong, but only in a few aspects.
I was talking to an aquaintence about why PC is better than console, and he brought up something I never thought about before - with a controller, you are allowed to relax. The "nerd position" we take as PC gamers if we don't have some fancy pants set up has us slouched over a keyboard and mouse. "With a controller, you can just kinda lean back and enjoy the game," he stated. Very true.
I lately found myself playing Resident Evil 5 on my laptop. Really quite the game, except I was having trouble adjusting to the controls of mouse and keyboard. I had played Resident Evil 4 on the Gamecube like a bandit, and I think that's where part of the difficult spurred from.
I found myself at Best Buy and was about to give up looking for PC controllers (I was really surprised that NO ONE offered to help me that day...usually so helpful at Best Buy) when I found two. A Logitech one for $25 and an XBOX - PC controller for $60. I didn't even want to spend the $25 since I wasn't even sure if it would work, but I grabbed it anyways. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?_dyncharset=ISO-8859-1&_dynSessConf=3912993248640503040&id=pcat17071&type=page&st=logitech+pc+controller&sc=Global&cp=1&nrp=15&sp=&qp=&list=n&iht=y&usc=All+Categories&ks=960 The 2nd item - F310 Controller
Holy balls. It was like I just picked up from Resident Evil 4, and that was years ago! I then realized that I had purchased Street Fighter 4 but never installed it because after I bought it, I was like "I can't play fighting games on a keyboard, wtf" So I installed that and it's just kinda like playing back on the SNES!
Now, the next question is...will I be able to get another controller and have two people be able to play off one laptop? I will update after I try it, lol.
But still, in flexibility, control, expansion...everything else except maybe sports games, PC's are much better rigs. I mean, my laptop for instance. I have over 25 games installed on it, and it can go anywhere, and all the other stuff I can do on it as well. rusrs? And, for example, L4D series. All updates and everything are free on the computer, but you have to pay on Xbox, ROFLMAO
