On Cinco de Mayo, I saw a news blurb on the net about some kids that got sent home from school because they were wearing American clothes on May 5th.  Why should anyone care?

The news was turned on for less than a minute when I heard that cops TODAY were being sent to the Live Oak High School.  Lol, really?

I understand the school is 40% Hispanic.  What kind of point is that?  Isn't this America?  Kids should not be forced to celebrate anything.  As far as I'm concerned, those kids were just exercising their 1st amendment right.  Some of the kids who wore the American clothes were literally half Mexican as well.

So boo hoo!  Not everyone wants to celebrate your holiday.  Get over it.

Now, if the kids wearing American were spreading threats, then OK.  We'll never really know because the media is stupid and kids are going to lie.
