Just Having a Weapon Gets You Killed

Watch this video, released today by Wikileaks.

I don't see any justification on why the pilots chose to murder innocent civilians.

Of course, the army tried to cover it up, hahaha.  No one is willing to take responsibility in the army anymore.  Lame.

It's good that the U.S. has Invisible Technology so the Iraqis couldn't see them hovering over them, because I know if I saw helicopters circling me and I had intent to attack them, I definitely would be just hanging out in the wide open with my weapons.

Fox News put up a defense for the army in this scenario.  It was hilarious listening them defend the video.  One point was the fact that some of the guys were carrying weapons.  True, it's not like that was hard to see.  I didn't see any of the guys invoke any hostilities to the soldiers, though.  The one dude who is up against the wall - I'm not convinced that he was a threat as well.  His "RPG" looked to be more of a telescopic lens than an RPG.  Why would he be aiming at the helicopter when he could clearly not hit it?  Also, there were two helicopters circling them, not just the one, so why aim at that one if the other could see him?

I love the fact how we are supposedly forcing our way of life on them, but it seems as though our Second Amendment only applies to Americans, and nobody else.

Another defense was against the van that pulled up.  That van, nor anyone in the van, was doing anything to harm anyone.  They were there to pick up the wounded man, and they were not even picking up weapons at the time of the shooting.  The defense for this was that there were many vans/trucks that looked like that one that have been partaking in RPG/Ambushes on American Troops.

So, essentially, if there were a string of bank robberies going on in L.A. and a few of them were done with F-150's, would that give the police righteous reasoning to light up every F-150 they came across?

Still, one of the highlights for me is the two kids that were wounded in the van.  U.S. Soldiers were responsible for wounding them, and now they are going to hang around for the Iraqi Police to come and take them to a local hospital?  Who made that decision?  I am absolutely convinced that the U.S. Hospitals were much better equipped to help those kids, not to mention they would have arrived sooner.
