Hotels
**Remember to get me updates if you have them!**
I thought I’d throw this together for more information on the hotels we stay at. It's always nice to know of something of/around the area you'll be staying at for up to 30+ hours, or if you just have a short overnight and you want some local/cheap cuisine.
Meal deals, great food, great crew discount, museums, parks, local eateries, bars, clubs, casinos, theaters, bowling alleys, sports arenas, event arenas, room fridges/microwaves, points of local history, grocery stores, etc. Anything you can think please pass along!

(If you see this, I'm looking for info!!)
This is the base skeleton of the way I have them listed

* Across the main road in front of the hotel is a Shaw's Grocery store.
BUF – $ – 2.5
(7/26/10)
* My favorite spot is Ying's Wings & Things, mainly because one of the bartenders looks and sounds like Jonah Hill. You may also want to get the Garlic Cheese bread. Cheap, delicious, great portion, and CHEESY!!! Hotel Van will take you, otherwise, it's a jaunt of a walk.
* Get out to the main road out the hotel and take a right and walk. You'll go under an overpass...just keep going and eventually you'll hit a lot of things. Once you get to Duff's, if you take a right, there is a mall about 10 more minutes down.

* Walk out to the main road of the hotel, make a left, walk to the light, take a right, and walk some more. After a total 10-15 minutes of walking, you will run into a sports bar called Jocks & Jills. Very fancy sports bar and grill! Lots of screens, a patio, a few arcade games (including Pac-Man, omg!) They have some really awesome prices on food....and when I asked if they have an Airline Discount, the answer I received was "As long as you have your crew ID, you get 10%"!!! JFK – $99 –
* Take the hotel shuttle to Federal Circle C, get on the airtrain to Jamaica Station, and get on the LIRR to Penn Station. That will be the quickest and cleanest way to get to Manhattan. If you want to experience the Real New York, take the air train to Howard Beach and get on the A train to Manhattan. It will take about 45 minutes longer, but boy howdy will you save a few bucks and get to see some interesting stuff!
* Stay at the Howard Johnson. Almost half price, haha.
LGA – $ – 2.5
* The hotel bar usually has a special on a keg of beer every other night or so. $3 per pint, and for NYC, that's a deal within itself!

* The "Vita-Course" is about a 30 minute walk from the hotel. Take a left then right out the hotel and go underneath the highway. The first road is Ambassador Drive. * If you walk off the hotel property and take a left (You may have to cross the first road because there are no sidewalks on that road) and pass the LaQuinta/Econolodge, there is an Enterprise Rent-a-Car! Great to know if you have a long overnight and want to check out historic Philadelphia.
* Get back on the road that runs next to the hotel and walk for about 10 minutes and you'll get to a McDonalds. Get on the left side of the road and a few minutes later you'll run into a Wawa's. Take a left at Wawa's and right behind it is a bar/grill called Coaches. Stand on the railroad tracks (but don't do that if there is a train coming) and look right and you will see Kelly Monaghan's Pub/Café. Walk past Kelly's for a few minutes and you'll come across Mel's Diner with dinner specials from $8.95-$13.95, and a breakfast special of 2 eggs any style, fresh home fries, toast and jelly for $2.79! BUF-Hotel Indigo I found this place to be quite nice. If you check in and have a priority club membership, they give a coupon for a free drink at the bar. Also, Southwest has a big presence here and gets 50% off food and $2 domestic beers, so we are Southwest when we stay there.
