Why We Should Lose in Afghanistan
First off, Joke of the Month:
Q: How do you get a Nobel Peace Prize?
A: Keep wars going, denounce your country, then send 30,000 more troops to one front!
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!
So why would I hope that this "new plan" fails? We can't have 0bama having that big of a success. Period.
Even though it really is extremely unlikely, if 0bama's plan happens the way he foresees it., what kind of new, tyrannical power will he have? He will be seen as the savior, the hero to the American people and the World. Since he and he alone was able to "stop terrorism," he will be able to put whatever he wants in to effect. This means a government that people will put so much more faith in, and therefore, a much larger government. We know what 0bama wants to do, and if he is seen as a savior, what's to stop him?
Not that I am wishing harm on anyone...of course I wouldn't do that, duh. Anyone who knows me personally can tell you that I wouldn't want that. I've been deployed twice and I know how all the stress involved. I literally fear what will happen if this whole thing works out...it could be the downfall of what little U.S. Constitution we have left.
And seriously, if the Taliban/Al Queda/Hezzbulah or whoever is in Afghanistan is defeated, will that stop all terrorism? Does he really think he can stop all terrorism? Does anyone really think that all terrorism can ever be stopped? Uh, no. Especially with our government. As long as it is allowed to grow, it will continue to create terrorism. It's inevitable.
