So, as many of you know, there was a mass shooting in Ft. Hood today.  I love big accounts like this because it makes all the news networks look like major idiots and makes people look like major morons.  I mean, this is a HUGE event and it will probably be weeks before we find out exactly what happened, but people want to know RIGHT now for some reason.

Anywho, most of you know I'm not a big fan of the Army by any means, but I'm not heartless (although I do admit I am pretty cold hearted about things).  Look at this snap shot I took of a news feed I had on my Facebook from the U.S. Army Facebook page.

I literally laughed and said "What the fudge?!"  I mean, WOW!!!!

I'm not going to make any official comment on the whole situation for some time, but the thing that sucks is that the shooting took place at the "SRP" center - the place where soldiers spend a couple days going through when they deploy or come back from a deployment.  That would have sucked to be getting back from a deployment all safe and such and then POW!  A Major in the U.S. Army is shooting you.

I will say, though, the Army is going to come up with some B.S. about how it wasn't the Army's fault.  The Army will never take accountability for anything.  Maybe it wasn't the Army's fault, but in this case, you will definitely not hear this was any fault of the Army's.
