Three Games I'm Playing Right Now
These three games I'm going bonkers about, and I will shortly tell you why on each.
1. Demigod
Platform: PC
Type: Real Time Strategy
Fun Factor: 63 of 69
Official Site: http://www.demigodthegame.com/

The Rook looking like a pWner
I started to do this blog, and realized I didn't have screen caps of Demigod. I turned it on to get a couple, and I kind of accidentally started playing it for 45 minutes.
You choose one of 8 Demigods, all with their own special powers. You are either on the team of Darkness or team of Light, and your goal is to beat the other team based on the set objective, i.e. Kill the other team, destroy their forts, hold flags, etc. It looks beautiful and it is very fun to play. I generally don't like sniping in games, but Regulus's Sniping capability is quite awesome.
The only downside is that it is short on Maps...but I'm kind of too busy to go see if there are any available for download
I'm sure they're out there.

An overhead shot of some craziness
2. Left 4 Dead
Platform: PC, Xbox
Type: First Person Shooter/Survival
Fun Factor: 68 of 69
Official Site: www.l4d.com

Zoey on the Minigun right before a Hunter pounced on her and did evil things.
HOLY FUDGE!! I just went to verify Left 4 Dead's official site and I saw the trailer for Left 4 Dead 2!!! AXES!!
This game has to be one of the most fun by far of all time. The ONLY real complaint I have seen a lot of reviews have is that it has no storyline...you are just dropped in the middle of a Zombie Apocalypse. To that I say - leave that story to the movies! This game is just about rampaging on Zombies, if they don't rampage on you first.
My favorite concept of the game is that it forces teamwork on its players. If you don't work together, you aren't going to survive.
3. Prototype
Platform: PC, Xbox, PS3
Type: Third Person Adventure
Fun Factor: 65 of 69
Official Site: www.prototypegame.com
I'll be honest...I haven't played this game a whole lot. This is the type of game that I will want to sit down and play for a good week or so. Since I have Left 4 Dead and Demigod (two games that really don't focus on a storyline too much), those are my quick fixes, but I still like to turn this one on and enjoy the scenery. I've only played about 30 minutes in to the story line, but I have played it for almost 2-3 hours just throwing military personnel and civilians around, haha. Unfortunately, a civilian hauled at a tank will not destroy it!
I will let the following screen caps just speak for themselves.

I will probably be playing these games for at least a month or so...dang vija games and their simple pleasures when I have an Anti Recruiting Campaign I'm suppose to be running, haha! I guess that's what you get when you are withheld from gaming for a whole year.
